Roll Number vs Enrollment Number
This trips up more students than any other step. Your Enrollment Number (11 digits, sometimes 13 for newer lateral-entry batches) is what you use to log into the AKTU ERP for fee payment and exam forms. Your University Roll Number is a separate identifier, issued after your first exam registration, and it’s what One View asks for. Using the wrong one is the single most common reason students see “record not found.”
When Does AKTU Declare Results
AKTU generally takes 45 to 60 days after a semester’s exams finish to publish results, though the exact date depends on your course and semester, since evaluation and moderation happen in batches. For the 2025–26 session, odd semester results (1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th) began rolling out in February and continued through April 2026. Even semester results (2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th), covering exams held in May and June, are expected between July and September 2026.
If your college’s result hasn’t appeared while others have, it usually means your course is scheduled for a later batch, not that something is wrong.
Understanding Your Result Status
AKTU marksheets use short codes instead of plain pass/fail labels. Here’s what each one means for your next step.

AKTU allows a maximum of 10 grace marks in an academic year, applied only when it’s enough to clear the full year, not a single subject in isolation.
Why Your Result May Show “Withheld”
This is the part most guides still get wrong for the current session. Starting 2025–26, AKTU made ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credits, also called APAAR ID) linking mandatory. If your ABC ID isn’t synced to your ERP profile, your result is withheld automatically, regardless of your actual marks.
To fix it: log in to your ERP, open Student Profile, find the ABC ID Entry section, and enter your 12-digit ID generated through DigiLocker. Confirm the status reads “Verified,” not “Pending” — a pending status usually means a mismatch between your Aadhaar details and your university record, which your college needs to correct on their end.
The other two common causes of a withheld result are an exam fee that shows “Failed” despite being deducted (AKTU reconciles bank transactions in batches, which can take up to 48 hours) and sessional or internal marks your college hasn’t submitted yet.
AKTU Revaluation and Challenge Evaluation
If your marks don’t match what you expected, AKTU gives you two separate routes, and they’re not the same thing.
Scrutiny is a basic recheck — the university verifies your total was added correctly and that no answer was left ungraded, without giving you access to the answer script itself.
Challenge Evaluation goes further. You request a digital copy of your own answer script (a fee applies, typically around ₹300), review it yourself, and if you find a genuine discrepancy, apply for re-evaluation at roughly ₹2,500 per subject.
Both must be applied for within 7 to 10 days of your result declaration, through your ERP’s Examination tab. Miss that window and you’ll wait until the next result cycle.

Reading Your SGPA and CGPA
SGPA reflects your performance in a single semester on a 10-point scale. CGPA is your cumulative average across every completed semester and is what most companies check during campus placement, usually expecting a minimum of 6.0 to 7.0. To pass a subject, AKTU requires at least 35% in the external exam and 40% combined between internal and external marks. A CGPA of 5.0 is the minimum threshold for degree eligibility.
